FIRST LINE FRIDAY — A Perfect Weakness

Happy Friday, friends. What are you reading this week? I just had to hop on and share the first line of my latest book.

I recently received an early copy of “A Perfect Weakness” from author friend, Jennifer A. Davids. I’m in the middle of reading it right now and I’m LOVING it! The setting, the time period, the drama, everything!

Ready for the first line? πŸ™‚

And the first line is:

Hampshire, England, July 1868

“Penelope Howard stood before a mound of earth in the church graveyard.”

Available for PRE-ORDER here:

Let me know your first line in the comments & then head over to Hoarding Books to see who else is participating!

Have a great weekend, my friends!!

I love the cover. Another book to check out … this week’s posts are playing havoc with my to-read pile!

My blog post today is sharing the first line from Solo Tu by Narelle Atkins. It’s book #7 in the Tuscan Legacy series, and is set in Australia. I’m currently reading another beach book – Sanover Beach Memories by Emma St. Clair. Here’s the first line:

“They had both been grounded for a week when Jenna’s father found the initials she and Steve carved into the birch tree.”

    Happy Memorial Day weekend!
