This story sparks to life with the trademark characteristics I’ve come to expect and enjoy from this author. Upon introduction to our hero and heroine, I instantly sympathized for them and was eager to see how things were going to play out. Their journey to Happily-Ever-After has its bumps and bruises along the way, but I enjoyed it from start to finish.
Shannon was such a sweet and genuine heroine. I wanted to be her friend. And Sam? I can’t deny that he charmed me just as much as everyone else in the book. π There’s more to him than first meets the eye and my heart instantly was rooting for him to find true love. Watching his friendship unfold with Shannon was both surprising and sweet. Oh, the drama!
In true Julie Lessman fashion, there was the witty dialogue, the adorable family members, and even a secondary love story with an older couple. Faith is a big part of this series and I’m touched by how each book has encouraged me where I’m at in my own life. I guess you could say I’m learning along with the characters. Stories that accomplish that are keepers!
I received this book for free. A favorable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.
