In the year of 1814, when this story takes place, the American and British nations are still at odds with each other, and in many scenarios, spies are born. It can be quite difficult to tell which side a person claims allegiance though, because each person may be working for both sides. Such is the case with one of the characters in this tale.
Moira Kingsley’s life is not what she hoped it would be. Her family is gone, and she soon discovers that her future is set. Yet what she sees is not what she desires. Her fiancé cares only for himself, and her uncle only cares for his position. Can she change the course of her life? Or is she obligated to follow a path where she knows it will only bring her heartache? A sudden mistake just might be her salvation.
Samuel Stryker listens to those around him with great passion. He does not want to miss a single word. Yet there are always distractions nearby, and he already has difficulty ignoring the beauty before him. However, Sam must focus on why he is in England at present. He must fulfill the ultimate duty that was entrusted to him. But what will happen when his actions could take the life of another? What will Sam decide to do in these moments? A chance encounter might be the key to direct Sam to where he needed to be all along.
If you love historical pieces with a touch of romance and adventure, then you will love this novella. The characters are interesting, and there is a surprise around every corner. I am still smiling from remembering the last pages of this story. I highly recommend it, and I cannot wait to read other books by Andrea Boeshaar. Happy reading friends!

About the Author
Andrea has been writing stories and poems since she was a little girl; however, it wasn’t until 1984 that she started submitting her work for publication. Eight years after that, she was convicted about writing for the Christian market. She read books in her genre (Inspirational Romance & Women’s Fiction), studied the market, and worked hard to hone her craft.
You convinced me, Heather. I just bought the book. 😊
