I love this idea Laurie Tomlinson started as a way for ACFW writers to mix and mingle BEFORE arriving at conference. 😉 Can’t wait to see you all in St. Louis!
Here’s what to do:
– Copy/paste and fill out your own answers (you don’t have to answer all of them!) in a post on your own website and paste the URL to that post (not your home page) using this handy link-up tool on Laurie’s page. Just click on the blue button below that says “Add your link”.
– Make sure to link back to this post after you fill out your answers so any of your readers who are conference attendees can participate, too! The more, the merrier.
– Click through the links below to get to know other conference attendees before St. Louis!
Here are the questions and my answers!
Name: Savanna Kaiser
Location: Hartville, MO
What you write/tagline/trademark: Historical Fiction/Romance
Place in the book world: Pre-published author currently working on my first historical novel.
On a scale of hugger to 10-foot-pole, please rate your personal space: I will happily welcome your hug! 🙂
The unique talking point that will get you going for hours: Books, movies, gardening, and anything to do with the Civil War.
Loved ones at home you’ll be missing: My hubby will actually be with me in St. Louis, but I will still miss him during the conference while he’s riding the nearby mountain bike trails. 🙂 I’ll miss the rest of my family back home, of course too, including my adorable nieces, nephews, and our little kitten, Ellie!
Conference goals we can pray for? This will be my first ACFW conference. I’m not planning on pitching this year, but I do hope to soak up a LOT of information through the workshops and connect with lots of other writers. If you would pray that God would calm my nerves and guide me through each class and conversation, I would really appreciate it!
Anything we can celebrate with you? I’m just so grateful that God provided the way for me to attend conference. I’m excited to see what He has in store!
One or two ways we can help you build your platform? Yes! I’d love for you to like my blog page on Facebook and subscribe to The Engrafted Word as well. Thanks so much!
