It sounds like a wonderful biblical account from Martha’s viewpoint! I don’t believe I have read any biblical fiction books. But my husband & I have had many discussions speculating on what it would be like to walk the streets where Jesus did, seeing the disciples preach/heal/teach, Paul’s ministry & the like. How would we respond? What would we feel? It is fun to imagine!
From what I have read about Stephanie (and she has other books too!) she does quite a bit of research. I really like when an author is as authentic as possible in their stories. Or,as in the case of Biblical fiction, has enough knowledge to make an accurate guess as to the times, customs, traditions, etc. I think “The Tomb” would be a wonderful read along with her other books!

So many wonderful scenes that were so well written that I too felt like I was right there with them. Ready to read more from this great author. =)
