Hi Rachelle, would it be terrible to say the name just felt like the right fit for her? She needed a name that could be shortened and changed. Her given name is Christiana, and after life happened, she shortened it to Tiana. Sometimes, I think of characters’ qualities and that helps me figure out their names. I have always loved the name Emory, as well. 🙂
