I was so excited to see that Joanne Bischof had written a Christmas novella to compliment her very popular book, The Lady and the Lionheart. I read this story in 2019 for the first time, and it is as wonderful as everyone says, which is why getting to visit Ella and Charlie’s world again is so special. Both characters will speak to your heart because their stories are so incredible.
In this tale, the reader gets to see the circus at Christmas while hearing all about how magnificent this time of the year is. Ella is missing her family, but loving this new chapter in her life. Being married to Charlie and becoming a mom to Holland is truly a gift from the Lord–just like all the gifts God gives to us at Christmas time. Also, Joanne makes sure to mention the most important present of all within the pages of this story.
Even though Christmas might be over, I recommend downloading this piece to your e-reader today. The message of love at Christmas rings true any time of the year, and if you are like me, you enjoy reading Christmas stories all year long! Happy reading friends!
