My girls and I need a hedge of protection around us. We are victims of an abusive ex-husband/father, who was convicted of felony child abuse last year for beating my youngest daughter and leaving severe bruising. My kids haven’t seen him for almost two years, but our order of protection is about to expire in April, and there is a very good chance that the courts will give him visitation. We are all terrified of him, and have no desire to see him. I’m trying to get a law passed in my state that will remove visitation rights for abusers. I may be testifying before our state representatives. Please pray that God will give me the words to say, and that this law will be passed. Children should not be forced to visit the people who have hurt them. Thank you and God bless you.
