In reply to <a href="https://theengraftedword.net/sparks-of-inspiration/#comment-11486">Sarah</a>.

Thanks for sharing, Sarah. Psalm 130 is a great chapter! Wow, what a compliment to have your writing compared to David's. I always treasured his psalms, but they mean even more to me now that I'm close to finishing Beth Moore's devotional "David: Seeking a Heart Like His". If you haven't done this study, I highly encourage you to do so. It has tremendously blessed my heart. (I hope to post a review and giveaway of the study in the next month or two. ;) )

Praying the Lord continues to guide and inspire you,

I love reading Psalm. When I do, I almost always find one that perfectly states what I'm feeling and what's going through my mind and spirit. The most recent one is Psalm 130:1-3. It perfectly echoed the cry in my heart.
I often find inspiration in Bible verses, lyrics from a song, reading, and listening to people. Someone told recently told me that my writing is similar to David's in Psalms and that it is the gift God has given me. I found that a huge honor, my writing being compared to one of my favorite books in the Bible, written by a man after God's own heart. :)
I like that quote by Charles Spurgeon. I should make a habit of starting my day with Him. I know when I do the day goes so much better, and my attitude and outlook are much brighter. Thank you for the reminder.
Blessings,
~Sarah
