Uncharted Redemption - My ReviewIn this second installment of The Uncharted Series, I was eager to return to the mysterious land where history and sci-fi collide. This intriguing world has a lot to offer and I get the feeling we’ve barely scratched the surface. The story isn’t over yet! πŸ˜‰

I was glad to reconnect with the characters from the first book and follow Levi this time in his pursuit of happiness. The obstacles in his way are exciting and believable, and I appreciated how his character grew, as did Mandy’s.

The setting, once again, felt real and the people in it just like you and me. And yet, there is a certain mystery and intrigue that hovers over the story, making it all seem almost dream-like. Fiction is awesome like that! πŸ˜‰

I did wish there were a few more surprises and twists in the story. At times I could sense what was coming. I was easily drawn into the book, hear me say, and I read through it quickly, but in some ways it felt like it was setting the stage for the rest still to come. It laid the groundwork well, but I was left wanting a bit more in these pages.

I would highly recommend readers start with the first book in the series, The Land Uncharted, so you’ll be familiar with the land itself and the characters. The plot picks up nicely in the second book and continues on point.

Uncharted Redemption is a captivating tale of redeeming love and forgiveness. It’s unique and adventurous. Readers better prepare to get lost in it. πŸ˜‰

Thank you to Keely Brooke Keith for providing a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Levi Colburn, resentful of his father, haunted by his mother’s tragic death, and pained by his love for the unattainable Mandy Foster, breaks from the Land’s tradition and begins to build a life of his own. When rebels tear through the village of Good Springs, Levi vows to deliver justice and restore the woman he loves. As tradition stands in the way of redemption and threats from the outside world begin to appear, Levi must learn his greatest battles cannot be fought with his fists. Romantic, suspenseful, and filled with adventure, Uncharted Redemption weaves dramatic new layers into life in the Land.
