Thanks, Trixi, for sharing such great points with us. You're right, no matter our age, circumstances, or weaknesses, the Lord can still work through us. He is our strength.

You have such a gift of encouragement, my friend. Praying the Lord continues to bless you as you bless others. And thank you for following my blog. It means a lot to me!

I guess you could call me one of those "seasoned readers" Savanna! Not so much in age (I'm only 44), but in the more mature topics of getting older. I think I could relate on some level with those in the book. I'm almost done with parenting, not that one ever really is, am close to that point in my womanhood (I am sure you know what that is)& know a few people in the career change late in life.
But God isn't done with me yet! He can & has used situations in my life to minister to younger Christians. Either those who are young in age, or young in the fact they have just started or not too long ago gave their hearts to Jesus. Each one of us never is past our usefulness to the Lord! I look for every opportunity I can to minister in some way to someone else. A smile, a word of encouragement, a hug or handshake, or maybe something bigger. Who knows what God will do through you if only you are open to it!
Thanks for the review today. This one just might make my to-read pile. Blessings, Savanna & until next blog! :-)

Haha, Joan... you're sweet! I liked the sound of "seasoned" too. ;) It just means you're more experienced in life and in books. ;)
