In Perfect Time - My ReviewGotta love historical fiction! This story educates and entertains its readers with sweeping emotion and heartfelt values. In Perfect Time contains every ingredient I look for in a great book – faith, romance, history, action, wit, and humor. This fun and surprising story flew me away to another place and time.

The book really seemed to blossom and grow deeper with each passing chapter I read. While I admit it took me a little bit to get fully invested in this story – blame that on me having not read the first two titles in the series just yet – the plot and pace of the story captured my full attention by the second half, along with the author’s signature gift for historical detail. I didn’t want to put the book down.

I loved the depth of the characters and appreciated both their strengths and their weaknesses. I enjoyed the setting and theme, the friendships, the lessons they – and readers – discover, and of course the emotionally-charged romance (and kisses! 😉 ) between Kay and Roger. I bet you will too!

A love and appreciation for history and a good romance are blended together nicely in this story without one overpowering the other. Fans of WWII history and Sarah Sundin’s inspiring work will be happily swept away with In Perfect Time. Don’t miss out on this great read!

This review is my honest opinion.  Thanks to the publisher for my copy.

Bold, sophisticated, and flirtatious, Army Air Force flight nurse Lt. Kay Jobson collects hearts wherever she flies, leaving men pining in airfields all across Europe. So how can ruggedly handsome C-47 pilot Lt. Roger Cooper be all but immune to her considerable charms? In fact, he seems to do everything he can to avoid her.

Still, as they cross the skies between Italy and southern France, evacuating the wounded and delivering paratroopers and supplies, every beat of their hearts draws them closer to where they don’t want to go.

Can they confront the fears and misunderstandings in their pasts?
