Welcome to the blog, Angela. I’m so happy to have you here today. Congratulations on your upcoming release, Where Healing Starts.
Which character from Where Healing Starts are you most excited for readers to meet and why?
Joanna. She is feisty. Even though she has her messes, she has passion. I can’t wait for readers to see her healing unfold.
If readers could only take away one lesson from this story, what do you hope it would be?
That God can and does redeem anything that we are willing to give to Him.
Do you remember the first time meeting one of your favorite authors? Who was it and can you tell us a bit about it?
I met Mary Conneally at a Christmas party for a local chapter of ACFW. I still remember reading one of her early books and laughing out loud. I loved the way she included humor in her stories. At that point in my life, I never thought I would actually meet any well-known authors. It was a hoot. I met several at that party, but she stands out because I had already read a few of her books.
That is so neat! I love her books too. 🙂 What’s something your readers would be surprised to know about you?
I don’t think there are too many surprising facts about me, but I was a nanny in New England for a number of years before I got married. While living in that part of the country I went on a whale watch, spent a vacation on the Cape, and attended New York City Ballet among other things.
That’s really cool. Hope you took lots of pictures. 😉
As a speaker, what is one of your favorite topics to teach on?
My favorite topic would have to be anything that helps women to grow. Especially in their faith.
Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Angela! Is there anything else you’d like to add? Any upcoming projects you can share with us?
There’s a special offer for readers right now if they pre-buy a copy of Where Healing Starts. Once purchased, they’ll immediately receive a link to download the Kindle version of Where Hope Starts for free!
I am also working on a children’s Christmas book. It will be a self-published book and we are hoping to release it either this year or in 2017.
How exciting! Blessings on the project. And keep us posted. 😉
