I thought this was the perfect book to review considering February is the month of love and Valentine’s Day! This particular book is part of a series of books by Kit Morgan. There are fourteen books in all, and thus far I have enjoyed the first three in the collection.
The same characters come alive in each text, and the stories focus on finding someone a mail order bride. Once one couple is married, it is time to move onto another romance. Each tale is light and fun, which makes for an entertaining read, and I am excited to explore the rest of the stories.
Matthew Quinn wasn’t looking to get married, especially since he already secretly loved someone else. However, the people around him decided to meddle in his life, which causes great confusion for all those involved. How can he explain his plans when others believe they know what is best for him? How can he convince one woman to believe he truly loves her–considering he is engaged to another.
Rose Smith knew she had to leave her present circumstances. Her life at the orphanage was fine while it lasted, but she had to move onto other engagements. She had no idea what awaited her in the next chapter of her life–what if she did not like the man she was supposed to marry? How could she fall in love with a perfect stranger? Imagine her surprise when she discovers some long lost friends at her destination! This meeting makes the transition all the better–now if she could only be certain her betrothed wanted her too.
I love reading romantic tales like this one. Think Hallmark movie turned into a book. The next book in the series is called Her Irish Surrender, but I would start with the first text, The Christmas Mail Order Bride. Check it out when you get a chance. Happy reading friends!
