Unbreakable — My Review

After reading the first two books in this series, there was no way I was going to miss the third and final installment. I had to know the ending! πŸ™‚ Unbreakable picks up right where Unraveling left off and wasted no time in capturing my complete attention. This is one of those stories you can’t put down and you can’t guess what’s going to happen next.

There is so much emotion and life within this book. Highs and lows. Lessons learned and love shared. It’s an epic journey for the characters and the readers alike. There were times I felt out of breath alongside them. πŸ™‚ So many twists, so many layers to the story.

The settings are vivid and surprising. And the characters are so well-developed. I loved seeing their journeys intertwine, though I will confess there was a few times I got lost in all the connections. Blame that on my sleepy brain. I was up rather late reading this. πŸ™‚

If you enjoy young-adult novels with a bit of fantasy and adventure thrown in, be sure to check out this epic series. Be sure to start with book 1 and travel the entire journey. You’ll be so glad you did.

I received a free copy from the publisher. No review, positive or otherwise, was requiredβ€”all opinions are my own.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

With the fate of the Reflections at stake, Eliyana must destroy the Void . . . but at what cost?

Eliyana Ember is a reluctant queen. As vessel of the Verityβ€”the purest of soulsβ€”only she can lead the fight against the wicked magnetism of the Void. If she fails, the paths between Reflections will cease to exist, and those she loves will remain plagued by darkness.

After passing through a draining Threshold and suffering near-death, Eliyana awakens to a Shadowalker-ridden Venice, Italy. From there, she must learn to navigate mysteries of time and space. Traveling across the seven Reflections, Eliyana seeks one thing: the demise of the Void.

But something else is at stakeβ€”the fate of her heart. Ky Rhyen and Joshua David, brothers in arms, duel to win her hand. Ky remains ensnared and tortured by the Void. Joshua, though well-meaning, harbors dark family secrets. Meanwhile, Eliyana finds herself torn, her mind and memories leading her in one direction, but her heart pulling her toward a man she knows she shouldn’t trust.

How can she discern whom to believe when she cannot even depend upon her own fragmented memories?

Traversing the realms of fantasy and reality through a labyrinth of plot twists,Β UnbreakableΒ delivers a thrilling conclusion to Sara Ella’s Unblemished Trilogy.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Once upon a time, Sara Ella dreamed she would marry a prince and live in a Disney-style castle. Today, she is a winner of the ECPA Christian Book Award for her debut novel Unblemished, which released to magical applause: β€œa stunning journey into a fascinating new world of reflections” (RT Book Reviews). Sara spends her days throwing living room dance parties for her two princesses and conquering realms of her own imaginings.

I didn’t even read the actual blurb about the book since I haven’t read the first two, but just from what you said about it I want to read it! Emotion, fantasy, adventure– I’m all in. πŸ˜› Plus that’s such a gorgeous cover. I definitely need to read this…
